How to Backup iPhone SMS

Step 1.

Connect iPhone to Computer

Download iPhone Transfer > install > launch > connect iPhone to PC with via USB cable. Then this program will automatically detect your iPhone. You can see the interface below.

Step 2.

Backup iPhone SMS

At the left side of the main window, click SMS then you can see all messages display in the right pane. If you want to selectively backup iPhone text messages, tick those you want and click "Export to". Then choose "Export selected SMS to computer" in the drop-down list. If you would like to backup all iPhone text messages, click "Export to" on the top of the window. In the drop-down list, select "Export all SMS to computer".

That’s all. It won’t take you much time to backup iPhone SMS without iTunes. To avoid data loss of your iPhone, you’d better backup iPhone regularly. With iPhone backup files, you can recover deleted SMS from iPhone if you unfortunately lose them.
