Tutorial: How to retrieve deleted files from Mac Trash?

1
Install and Choose Lost File Recovery mode
First install the program. Then choose the lost file recovery mode to scan. "Lost File Recovery" can get the files back from a partition or removable media. It costs you a less time to scan and restore deleted files from Mac Trash. If some deleted files cannot be displayed in this mode, you should try "Raw Recovery" mode, which can scan deeper of your hard drive and find out the files deleted long time ago, but it takes more time.

Tips:
If you just need to recover a few files, you can "Pause" or "Stop" the scan when you have found the files you want or you have to leave for a while during scanning. If you pause it, you can go on at any time when you are available. And If you stop it, you don't need to drop the current scanning result, and you can save it on your PC for next time by resuming it, which can save you time.

4
Save the recovered files on another partition
After previewing the file, click on "Recover" to restore them.
Remember not to save the recovered files on the disk where you lost them, or you will overwrite them. If you cannot find the files, the deleted files will be overwritten for your new files' storage.
