How to Recover Files from SD Card

In recent years, SD cards have become very popular. Tutorial: How to Perform SD Card Data Recovery?

Step 1.

Select the file type for recovery

Here you can choose the "Scan" or "Advanced" to recover what you want. Choose the Guided Scan to scan the external devices.

Quick Scan: Quickly Scans your computer and devices for files easily recovery.
Full Scan: Scans your computer and all connected devices.
Guided Scan: Guides you through the selection of file or email recovery.


To recover files from external device, select the device to scan.

Step 2.

Scan Your Flash Drive for Lost Files

After selecting recovery type, click "Star Scan", the program will automatically scan the files you want to recover.
Step 3.

Retrieve Data from SD Card

Soon the lost files on your SD Card, it will be detected and showed in categories on program window. You can view file names to check whether you wanted files have been found or not.
Then click on those files you are going to reclaim and click “recover” to save them on your computer.
Note: To avoid data overwritten issue, I strongly suggest you do not keep the recovered data to SD Card during the recovery.
